TJ's Rules for Navigating Substack
There’s a flood of leftists abandoning social media as their safe spaces have been removed and a lot of them are ending up here on Substack. As a public service, I am gradually collecting a set of rules to help you weave your way through them.
These will continually be appended, as leftists are always inventing new affronts to civilized society.
TJ’s Substack Rule #1:
Whenever an author appends academic credentials to their name (PhD, MBA, MEd, MSc & etc), 9/10 they’re signaling their ability to scam a higher education institution. That is to say they’re likely morons, and reading their posts will give you a headache. Mute, or mock them with alacrity.
TJ’s Substack Rule #2:
Whenever you run across a lefty squirting tears about some dastardly behavior by a right winger, they're describing the dastardly crap floating around in their own cartoon bubbles.
There isn't an unwholesome or degrading act, degeneracy, mendaciousness, perfidy, skullduggery a human being is capable of that isn't the status quo of some leftist group.
Your proposition: "social media as their safe spaces have been removed and a lot of them are ending up here on Substack." ...A counter-proposition: what you call "removed," many would call simply "censored," out of existence, "airbrushed from the photo," etc.. So, now that we've called a spade a spade, and it's clear that you are no more objective about the topic than say, Victor Orban, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan or Donald Turnip, where do we go from here? Well, OK, I'll start, thanks! First, by taking a stroll to the "Overton 🪟," where I thought I could get a breath of fresh air; but no it keeps moving further to the Right (as it has ever since, that "prince among men" (🤮), Newt Gingrich was Speaker Of The House), to the point that it has squarely parked itself under the capacious and sulphurpus posterior of Ol' $tinky himself (to wit: https://news.sky.com/video/donald-trump-posts-ai-video-mocking-no-kings-protesters-13453158). Well, what is a well informed individual on the topic (a couple of degrees and decades of watching and participating) to do? Well I say: call out the soft peddle fascists like yourself, a grousing nihilist who criticizes and belittles, but make no net positive contribution to the debate, as to creating options for the net benefits of ALL of society's members. ...🐝 better dude! Nobody wants to listen to your teen level pronouncements and whining. P.s. ...OK, OK, OK...I'll even do you a solid, and throw you a bone here: look up the definition of "Utilitarianism," it might just provide you a way forward, and make you a less miserable and more "contributory" human. 👋😁
